Renay Sheehan
Director
Renay has extensive experience in government relations and corporate affairs, built across 15 years in senior political advisory roles and more than 17 years with Woodside Energy.
Her career began in state and federal political roles, where she serves in a variety of portfolios for Ministers in both jurisdictions, including as a Senior Advisor and Chief of Staff. She also worked within the labour movement, gaining broad experience across industrial, social policy and sector-wide issues.
During her long tenure with Woodside, Renay held a range of senior Corporate Affairs leadership roles across operations and major developments, leading teams responsible for delivering integrated government, community and communications strategies in Australia and internationally. Her final role was as Head of State Government Relations, providing strategic engagement and policy leadership at the highest levels in a global energy company.
Renay’s experience spans government relations, community relations, communications and corporate affairs across multiple sectors, with particularly deep expertise in the resources industry.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours in Politics) from the University of Western Australia and a Bachelor of Laws from Murdoch University.
