Tim has vast experience in government relations and corporate affairs, including more than 15 years across a variety of business areas with Woodside Energy. 

Tim’s career started with a range of government and industry associations roles, working for Commonwealth Members of Parliament and Senators, serving as both a Chief of Staff and Principal Policy Adviser in the WA Government and spending time with the Chamber of Minerals and Energy of WA. 

During his long time with Woodside, Tim led teams responsible for delivering integrated government, communities and communications strategies to support major projects, including the Pluto Train 2 / Scarborough final investment decision.  

Before joining Corporate Affairs Australia in 2022, Tim was Woodside’s General Manager Government Relations and led corporate affairs support to Woodside’s New Energy & Carbon teams. 

At CAA, Tim provides expert advice and support to a wide range of clients, with a focus on developing and implementing effective government relations strategies and ensuring an integrated approach to corporate affairs, including strategic communications. 

Tim is a graduate of AICD’s Company Directors Course.
